Follow your doctor's instructions to take this medication by mouth, with or without food, usually twice a day. Swallow the entire tablet. Do not chew or crush the tablets.

The dosage depends on your medical condition and response to treatment. Do not increase the dose, and do not use this medication more frequently or longer than prescribed. Your condition will not get better soon, and the risk of side effects will increase.

Because the drug can be absorbed through the skin and lungs and may harm an unborn baby, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should not use the drug or inhale the dust in the tablet.

There may be diarrhea, headache, heartburn, sore mouth/throat and difficulty sleeping. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

People who use this drug may have serious side effects. However, your doctor prescribes this medicine because he or she believes that the benefits to you outweigh the risks of side effects. The doctor's careful monitoring may reduce your risk.

If you have any serious side effects, please tell your doctor immediately, including: easy bruising/bleeding, swelling of hands/ankles/feet, sudden changes in vision.

Edarassib usually causes a rash, which is usually not serious. However, you may not be able to tell apart from a rare rash (which may indicate a sign of a serious reaction). Therefore, if a rash occurs, seek medical help immediately.

This drug weakens the immune system/increases the risk of infections, including rare but very serious (possibly fatal) brain infections (progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy-PML). Seek medical help immediately if you have any of the following side effects: clumsiness, loss of coordination/balance, weakness, sudden changes in thinking (such as confusion, inattention, memory loss), difficulty speaking/walking, seizures.

Very severe allergic reactions to this drug are rare. However, if you notice any symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, including skin rash, itching/swelling (especially face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, and difficulty breathing, please seek medical help immediately.

Precaution

Before taking idalaxib, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have other allergic reactions. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which may cause allergic reactions or other problems. Contact your pharmacist for more details.

Before using this medication, please tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially: liver disease, lung disease, stomach/intestinal ulcers, current serious infections.

Edarassib can make you more susceptible to infection or may worsen your current infection. Therefore, please wash your hands to prevent the spread of infection. Avoid contact with infected people who may spread to others (such as chickenpox, measles, flu). If you are infected or for more detailed information, please consult your doctor.

Do not get immunizations without the consent of your doctor. Avoid contact with people who have recently received live vaccines (such as flu vaccine inhaled through the nose).

To reduce the chance of cuts, abrasions or injuries, use sharp objects such as razors and nail clippers with caution, and avoid activities such as contact sports.

Before having surgery, please inform your doctor or dentist of all the products you use (including prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, and herbal products).

Tell the doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. You should not become pregnant while taking Atraxib. Edarassib may harm an unborn baby. Women should ask about reliable forms of birth control while taking this drug and within 1 month after stopping treatment. Men should ask about reliable forms of birth control while taking this drug and within 3 months after stopping treatment. If you or your partner is pregnant, talk to your doctor immediately about the risks and benefits of this medication.
